Using information on the average pesticide content in 22 foods in Brazil, this indicator estimates the daily pesticide intake of people living in the country.
Interpretation
Higher values for this indicator point to greater intake of pesticides and, consequently, to less sustainability in the nutritional aspect of the food system.
