Proportion of adults aged 19 and older with BMI equal or above 25 kg/m², meaning this indicator includes overweight and obesity combined.

Interpretation

Adults who are overweight are at increased risk of diet related noncommunicable diseases and premature mortality (The Global BMI Mortality Collaboration 2016).
